Senior Strategist

PPK is seeking an experienced, digitally-savvy Senior Strategist for our Tampa office.

This senior level candidate is extremely detail oriented, an active-listener, is able to take and give direction and effectively communicate business needs to both internal and external teams. This person thrives off continuously developing new processes to better workflows and client communication. Aside from a strong project management skillset, this candidate has a strong understanding in consumer insights, communications planning and digital strategy.

The position will focus heavily around our digital development and design teams to concept, present and execute new and innovative trends, strategies, websites and campaigns.

This position reports to the Executive Director, Strategy + Innovation and works under general direction, providing overview of the end product.

You’ll be working with some of the smartest technical directors, data analysts, front-end and back-end developers, social media strategists, media planners, digital media buyers, video editors and content developers in the Southeast. You’ll also be a part of an internationally recognized and award-winning creative agency.

  • Manage project timelines for digital team and ensure project(s) hit deadlines
  • Develop overarching strategic recommendations for digital activations based on consumer insights and analytics
  • Build strong client relationship all while coaching them on new trends and strategies we’re deploying
  • Cross functional teammate who can bring multi-departmental leads together to provide insights for strategies
  • Ensure all digital design and development achieves set goals and strategies outlined within planning phases of projects
  • Coordinate with agency and client research departments/teams to plan and execute qualitative and quantitative studies
  • Schedule and conduct status meetings to ensure project timelines and needs are hit on a daily/weekly basis
  • Demonstrate understanding of client and business needs, goals and vertical/competitive environment
  • Drive and execute digital analysis and strategy to help achieve client’s objectives
  • Be hands-on team player adding value, sharing creative ideas, and executing digital processes to help streamline internal and external communication
  • Develop key insights that drive smart and actionable digital experiences through a deep understanding of the client’s core consumer and overall business needs
  • Develop and present core strategists, project timelines and internal/external needs with client
  • Identify opportunities to integrate digital solutions into client’s projects


  • 5-7 years in strategist planning, insights and/or project management
  • Creative with a flare of media savvy
  • Experience estimating, tracking and managing multi-phase project timelines
  • Worked within a government, travel and tourism, CPG, or food and beverage sector(s) a plus
  • Strong reading, writing and presentation skills with the ability to extract insights from large amounts of data in order to form a plan and present.
  • Working knowledge of web design, development and analytics along with trends to help make strategic recommendations.
  • Understanding of standard digital approaches to data analytics, platform integrations, etc.
  • Must be able to proficiently learn new computer systems such as Microsoft Office, G-Suite, etc.
