Digital Account Supervisor

PPK is seeking an experienced and digitally-savvy Digital Account Supervisor for our Tampa office. 

The Digital Account Supervisor is extremely detail oriented, an active-listener and strategic thinker, concepts and activates in a digital first landscape, is able to take and give direction and effectively communicate business needs. This person possesses a thorough understanding of advertising communications and brand strategy and has a keen understanding of the consumer packaged goods landscape. This person has the ability to see projects through from concept, to execution to implementation and has a clear understanding of how each project and the overall scope of work supports the brand objectives and contributes to tactical execution of brand strategies.
 
This position reports to the Group Account Director and works under the Executive Director of Strategy and Innovation, providing overview of the end product; work is completed unsupervised. You’ll be working across a broad array of departments including, but not limited to: media planning and buying, creative direction, production, social media, digital development, email and brand teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with all Agency departments to ensure the goals for the Clients are met.
  • Anticipates and activates on strategic executions and solutions before client asks.
  • Coordinate day-to-day agency account activities with clients and internal agency staff.
  • Develop strong client relationships.
  • Interface with internal agency departments and clients to monitor the status of on-going projects and ensure smooth cooperation between resources to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Write and get briefings approved by client to ensure internal teams are guided in the proper direction prior to work being executed.
  • Ensure that all work is reviewed and meets the standards of all briefs before it goes to the Client and is always on schedule.
  • Schedule and participate in creative briefings and planning sessions to develop creative execution and tactics that will achieve client objectives.
  • Develop client budget spreadsheets, manage client budgets, assist with development of client presentations, analyze client marketing and sales data and prepare sales analysis spreadsheets.
  • Manage all projects in the pipeline across all departments including, but not limited to online media, social media, video content, etc.
  • Manage traditional jobs related to television, radio, out of home and print.
  • Coordinate with agency research department to plan and execute qualitative and quantitative studies.
  • Monitor client’s business on a daily/weekly basis and provide trends to internal and external teams to ensure everyone has a status of vertical.
  • Responsible for managing project management, including opening jobs, tracking jobs through to completion, reviewing and monitoring/managing budgets for all client work.
  • Schedule and conduct status meetings with internal team, client and client partners with ability to transcribe notes and action items for all teams involved.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years as a Senior Account Executive or Project Manager in a full-service advertising agency.
  • At least 1-3yrs experience working on a consumer packaged goods account.
  • Digital and social first mentality with media savviness across traditional mediums as well
  • Thorough understanding of creative development and production process for both traditional and interactive media-based programs.
  • Experience estimating, tracking, and managing multi-phase project budgets.
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, proofreading and organizational skills.
  • Experience in assisting with the development of client presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels of an organization.
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Google Suite, with the ability to learn new computer systems.
