Award winning, full service Advertising Agency in Downtown Tampa is seeking a Creative Director to join our innovative team. We are a group of kick ass entrepreneurial team members who collectively gather to develop strategies that drive action. Our diverse team is currently composed of 90+ individuals and we continue to grow. As the Creative Director, you will work closely with all functions of the Agency to deliver engaging content that meets the expectations of our clients. The ideal candidate should be extremely creative, dedicated, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. This person needs to be incredible in presentations, conceptual and client friendly, possessing excellent leadership qualities with the ability to maximize the talents of their team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative, thought-provoking, original concepts that are on brand and on brief.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the team. Mentor junior creatives as needed, nurturing their ideas and monitoring their overall performance.
  • Provide insight and assistance to overcome obstacles that arise with a project – offer viable solutions.
  • Give updates on the progress of each project and stage of their development and creation phase to ECD.
  • Evaluate trends, assess new data and keep up-to-date with the latest marketing techniques.
  • Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small-scale and large-scale projects
  • Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.
  • Shape brand standards and create procedures to ensure all products are brand appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism and other relevant fields preferred or minimum of 5 years experience, particularly with, but not limited to, creative direction.
  • A solid understanding of design, copy and web practices.
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background.
